Giridhari Swami went on to share, “We can certainly understand that Srila Prabhupada, Sri Sri Gaura-Nitai, and Sri Sri Radha-Madhava here in Mayapur made some very, very special arrangement for Goswami Maharaja. There is no doubt. Of course, we lament his departure. But at the same time we think about the will of this great persona1ity. Particularly those of us who worked with him… Godbrothers, disciples, followers…we should make an effort to work very hard to continue his great work. I know for certain that this is what Goswami Maharaja would want us to do, that we should at least maintain all the different projects he started. So in his memory we should go forward.
“For myself, he was a person who was always there for me in practically every situation from the beginning of my Krishna consciousness. His dedication and service to Srila Prabhupada will always be a great inspiration. He worked very hard to train us. He entrusted us with a tremendous amount of responsibility. And, he very kindly was there in times of difficulty to pick us up. So, from beginning to the end, this special personality appeared in my life and took up the role of giving me Srila Prabhupada’s mercy.”
